One of the fun things to do in Destin, Fla. is to take a dolphin cruise out of the Destin Harbor. We recently hopped aboard Destin's Original Seablaster and were in a for a real treat! We had lots of close encounters with a pod of dolphins. They say dolphins are among the most intelligent animals and we agree. Our dolphin friends appeared to be putting on a show for the boat and their natural smile and playful attitude quickly made us their biggest fans.

Coming to the beach just got more convenient for our friends in Texas! With Spring upon us, we were thrilled to hear the news that American Airlines will be doubling the number of flights from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Fort Walton Beach (VPS). Yesterday the dredger was pumping sand in front of Holiday Surf and Racqet and their schedule is to be complete with the dredging tomorrow. There will be a few days of tidy up work with small movements of sand and removal of equipment. The sand looks great. The dunes are level with the sea walls and extend 30 feet.
