The Destin Seafood Festival, one of the area's most celebrated traditions, has shifted from October to September, offering an exciting weekend filled with fresh Gulf seafood, local art, and live music along the scenic harbor. Visitors can browse artist booths, enjoy performances from musicians across the country, and sample dishes prepared by Destin’s finest seafood vendors. While the main festival is free and open to the public, ticket sales benefit the Destin Charter Boat Association, a nonprofit supporting local fisheries and community programs. The 30A 10K Thanksgiving Day Race Series is a 501c3 non-profit organization, whose purpose is to serve the community by producing a world-class 10K and related events that raise money to benefit local charities, while promoting health and fitness. To date, the series has raised more than $1 Million for charity partners to help local families and children in need. With a 10K, 5K and 1 mile run/walk, there is a race distance for every ability.
