Don’t Plan a Beach Getaway… Make It a Spontaneous Summer Stay!

Mom

It’s been a busy year and finding the time to plan for fun is often a challenge. Therefore, our team is making it easy to be spontaneous! Our team of local vacation specialists enjoy the thrill of finding the perfect vacation rental home or condominium for each individual’s needs and preferences. They'll even email you a list of choices within your favorite beach enclaves to review at your leisure.

Whether you wake up inspired to take a quick trip to the beach with your significant other or you're craving a solo trip to clear your mind and give your skin a golden glow or you're simply yearning for time with friends to boost your morale, our friendly team is ready to help you get back to the beach in an instant.

One of the joys of visiting Northwest Florida’s beaches is the ease of access by car, allowing for minimal planning and less travel risks by avoiding flight delays and expensive last-minute airfares. Once you’re in Destin, there are more savings to enjoy. Guests will enjoy access to exclusive special partner offers at area restaurants and activities. In addition, most Newman-Dailey vacation rentals include a virtual gift card, good toward one free activity each day of your stay. As an added convenience, most rentals also include seasonal beach service with two chairs and an umbrella set up on the beach each day of your stay.

August brings reduced stay rates and by mid-month, beach lovers can take advantage of our EXTRA HAPPY late summer travel deal, which includes an additional 15% off stays in participating Destin vacation rentals between August 14-31, 2023.

No matter what day(s) you spontaneously decide to stay, there are fun events happening most days of the week. Some of the August weekly highlights include:

  • Wednesdays -  Sandestin's Village of Baytowne Wharf features a free concert series on Wednesdays from 7-9 p.m. With a variety of restaurants and activities at the Village of Baytowne Wharf, guests can enjoy all the Village has to offer then relax on the green and enjoy live music under the stars.
  • Thursdays - Perfect for girlfriend getaways, the Destin institution, McGuire’s Irish Pub, features Ladies' Night every Thursday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. With live music and a selection of free and reduced-price drinks, McGuire's ensures everyone feels the luck of the Irish.
  • Fridays – Royal Palm Grill in Miramar Beach hosts a free bonfire at their beach bar on Friday evenings. With plenty of chairs, drink specials, and s’mores, it’s the perfect ending after a fun day at the beach.
  • Saturdays – Farmer’s Markets are in abundance on Saturdays. From Seaside to Grand Boulevard to the Village of Baytowne Wharf to HarborWalk Village, Farmer’s Markets featuring fresh, local produce and locally made products provide the perfect spot to grab ingredients for dinner or the perfect hand-made gift for yourself, friends or family.
  • Sunday – Sundays are made for sunset celebrations. Whether you gather on the porch or balcony of your vacation rental or head down to the beach, watching the sunset, and especially the afterglow, is a tradition in Destin, Florida. Start new traditions with a signature drink, special toast or beach portrait to make the experience even more special. (Our team is always happy to make suggestions. 😊 )

So stop stressing about planning a vacation and simply be spontaneous this year.
