As we continue this week’s celebration of local craft beer and breweries, we were excited to learn about the 30A Craft Beer & Spirits Festival, coming to Gulf Place in Santa Rosa Beach Sept. 30 – Oct. 1, 2016. The festival is a collaborative effort between Chan’s Wine World and new Craft Bar in Grayton Beach on Hwy 30A.
The two-day event kicks of Friday, Sept. 30 with the “Best Band on the Emerald Coast”, Heritage, performing live music from 6 to 9 p.m. The party continues on Saturday, Oct. 1 featuring old-school funk rhythms and classic rock riffs from Charleston, S.C.’s Dead 27s. Nearly 20 local, regional and national brewers, including Grayton Beer and Idyll Hounds, as well as master distillers will be pouring some of their finest craft beers and spirits. While many of South Walton's most popular restaurants will be serving light bites, including Bijoux, Bud & Alley's, The Bay, The Craft Bar, Great Southern Café, Trebeaché, Wine World and Sweet Henrietta's, among others. General admission is from 2 to 5 p.m. Advance purchase prices are $45/person per day or a two-day pass for $80/person. (Prices at the gate will be $55/person and $100/person for the two-day pass). VIP are available providing early entry (1 p.m.) on Saturday (only) and exclusive access to the VIP Tent. VIP admission is $65/person on Saturday and a two-day VIP package pass is $100/person.
