Your beach vacation is right around the corner and you’re planning your escape. Of course, you're planning for lots of beach time and relaxing with family and friends, but consider planning some activities for the kids, and a special night out for the adults.
The 30A Learning Academy, located at Gulf Place in Santa Rosa Beach, offers Adventure Camps and fun nights out for kids. If your children are adventurous, and love to learn through exploration, then this is the camp for them. Children will participate in hands-on classroom experiences as well as out-in-the-field experiences to learn about Northwest Florida's diverse ecosystems while exploring the unique environmental wonders of our 30A and Emerald Coast area.
30A Adventure Camps are held on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for kids ages 2-13. All activities are directed by a professional certified Florida educator.
Older elementary and middle school students will travel to a new off campus field experience every day. The themes may stay the same, but the field trips and experiences change every day. There is so much to learn, see, and do in South Walton and every day is a chance for a new adventure! Themes include: Learn About Our Coastal Dune Lakes, At the Edge of our Homes we can find Ecotones, and Water Water Everywhere!
Preschool and lower elementary aged students will have crafts, hands-on experiences and in-the-field experiences at 30A Learning Academy on the beautiful Gulf Place property. Themes range from “Under the sea, what can we see?” and “look on the shore & let's find some more” to “up in that tree, there’s so much to see” and “what squirms around under the ground.”
Or consider enjoying a special evening at one of the delicious South Walton restaurants while the kids enjoy a “Kids Night Out.” On Wednesday and Friday nights from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m., kids may join the 30A Learning Academy pros for special evening filled with games, crafts, movies, popcorn & tons of fun. While you’re enjoying a delectable dinner, your children will be in a safe private school environment and all activities are led by a professional certified educator.

Looking for more camp adventures? Consider 30A Surf Camp. Surf classes begin May 11 and run through September 10. Held Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., 30A Surf Camps are held at two convenient locations—Seagrove Plaza in Seagrove Beach and the Ed Walline Regional Beach Access across from Gulf Place.
