We were very pleased with our cottage. It was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was loaded with just about anything we could have needed. The master bed was very comfortable. The screened in patio was used all the time for eating and relaxing. One negative was that there were rips in a few of the screens that I would have liked to have kept open, but did not want bugs flying in. People we met were all very helpful and friendly. I was a bit disappointed in the run down condition of the whirlpool outside (by the pool) The jets in the whirlpool were weak and not very numerous, but the pool itself was well kept and clean. All in all, the stay was safe, clean and we had a lovely time. Hope to return some day to the best sandy beach!!

Think it would have been even more enjoyable if it hadn't been spring break week for some of the guests. But that was the reason I was there, to be with my grandkids.

Location was great, condo was very clean and the view was amazing. We travel with our kids and don't eat out much and like that there were grills on site..only 1 of the 3 grills actually worked and we ended up having to wait for other guests to get done which delayed our dinner for over an hour. Condo didn't have any BBQ tools either so we had to improvise and use forks. Love having washer and dryer but no laundry basket anywhere. Also maybe an extra pillow, blankets and towels. There are no extra linens at all and the nights were chilly, we used our beach towels as extra blankets on the beds.

We have stayed at Hidden Dunes several times. Usually in 705,this year 1305 was very comfortable but with my husband tripping and falling in the condo, and a trip to ER the staff you have in your office and the security persons were way above expectations. We have discovered my husband has a spine problem we would never have found until it could have done him in. Because he needed to rest 2 days before travel, Kirby, Betty Laurel and Laura made our stay extend so he could recover from his head injury. The gate security was excellent to us. You have a staff you should be proud of. Tell the owners they are working with the correct rental staff. We will be back.We lived in Ft walton in '70's

Newman-Dailey made planning our holiday a real pleasure. Their site is clear and easy to follow and the staff was so helpful answering any and all of our questions. The condo 603 was wonderful. It was bright, roomy, very clean, and the view from the balcony allowed us to enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset. The beach is miles of white sand and there is plenty of golf and tennis available to enjoy. The shopping is great with factory stores right across the street. Newman-Dailey had socials planned to learn about the area and meet people. We enjoyed the heated pool and amazing ocean colors. Health issues cut our stay short but the staff at Newman-Dailey(Kate and Donna) treated us like family and helped us so much. We will definately go back when possible and had no complaints with the condo at all.Enjoy!

We had plenty of room in the unit to spread out. We enjoyed th fully stocked kitchen and having the washer and dryer in the unit was a real plus. The professionals in the tennis center were wonderful - very friendly and welcoming. We are anxious to return next year.

We stayed 3 months. The resort is heavily forested shielding out the sun.That requires going a short distance to a pool
Or to the beach for direct sun.
The highway 98 access is heavily traveled and difficult
To enter, coming or going. Hidden Dunes Resort is
well managed and they respond quickly to any needed
services or requests.

We were delighted to find that the unit was carpeted, it is much quieter, easier to keep clean, easier on the feet and great for practicing putting(!) The only thing we would like to see changed is the TV. A flat screen HD model would be wonderful. The cupboards were well equipped although we did have to buy a new toaster to accomodate the larger slice size from our breadmachine. We have been coming to the Hidden Dunes and staying in the Gulfside tower for over 20 years and this was one of the best years.

Well kept and updated. One of the best. Enjoyed the views from the balcony. Weather was great this winter. This location is much quieter that most areas in Destin area but still a great location for resturants and shopping.

Unit 146 in Hidden Dunes has a very pleasant decor, has been maintained very well and is fully supplied with just
about everything we could have hoped for. We loved the
'living in the woods" feel. Donna was very responsive to
any request or problem. This was our first visit to Hidden Dunes, but we were really impressed with the design, layout, maintenance, upkeep and the many little
water features sprinkled around the grounds. We would certainly recommend Hidden Dunes and Newman-Daily Resorts. Thank you for providing a very pleasant experience.

We had a nice stay. The Newman Dailey people were excellent and helpful. The area has something for everyone. The room itself was clean, but somewhat dated. There were some broken blinds and the ever present (in most rental places) mirrored closet doors that squeak and come off the tracks easily, The appliances were fine and the furniture was decent. There was no cable in the guest bedroom but there was a small TV. Had to buy light bulbs as the ones in the sockets were 40 watt. Kitchen was very well equipped.Too cold to swim in regular pool, but heated pool was a short walk and nice. Grounds were very nice and well maintained as were the outdoor grills. The hot tub was closed and never worked while there for five days. Workout facility was fine.
Only area of significant need was the management middleman group (not the property managers) that handled reservations for golf, dolphin cruise, mini-golf etc. Was like pulling teeth and extremely time consuming to do something as simple as book a tee time (30 minutes) or a dolphin cruise.
Overall, solid trip and very nice property management company.

We have always loved Destin, but after staying in Villa 23, we love Destin even more! They must have hired an expensive decorator because every room is more beautiful than the next! Our huge family fit comfortably in the Villa, everyone had their own bed. Being able to sit on the screen porch & see the pool was a bonus.

Hidden Dunes is the perfect place to stay if you want to be on the beach but you don't want to spend a fortune. The condo was decorated nice but wasn't over the top. My kids liked the tv and the stereo. I liked the king bed in the master and the ocean views. I would have liked 2 queen beds in the second room instead of doubles. The kitchen and bathrooms were average but still fine for the week. They were clean and that's the most important. There was a table and chairs outside on the balcony but not the most comfortable or updated either. Overall, I still love the area , the private beaches, the family atmosphere, the clean, comfortable condo, the beach views close to golfing or groceries, and the fair price. It's not luxurious but It's very nice and that's why we keep going back!

Condo was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. There was an extra ice machine which was a bonus! Grounds are beautiful. Our condo was pretty close to the beach. My husband and daughter used the tennis courts and said they were very fine. We absolutely loved Hidden Dunes and will stay there again. Only negative was the wireless internet provided by ND had a weak signal and was pretty much useless. The condo owners had a separate wifi hooked up for their use which we could see had more bars and would have provided a stronger signal, but we did not have the code to sign on.

Unit 195 is a great place to stay. We loved having three full bathrooms, and everything was clean and in good shape. My kids loved the pools, and it was so nice not to have to cross the street to get to the beach! Please continue to offer free beach umbrella for each day of stay--that was huge for us.

Our family has been staying at Hidden Dunes for 12 years. We love it. I have a wheelchair bound son and the staff goes out of their way to ensure our comfort and that his needs are met. That means alot to us. The property is beautiful and always well maintained. It is perfect.

Very spacious and convenient. Easy access to everywhere we wanted to be. The only drawback were the occupants upstairs. They seemed to run laps from 7 - 9 am every morning!

We always love going to Hidden Dunes. This was the 1st time we used Newman Dailey. Everything was as expected. Nice unit. The beach and the pools are great. Really enjoyed having the "perks" card for beach chairs movie rentals, mini golf etc. The only 2 suggestions are to have the welcome pack in the condo and take look at kitchen utensils. We arrived late and went to the store and ended up getting dish soap and dish detergent which weren't needed because of the welcome pack. Some of the knives and other items were not so great. I know they are rentals but your renters are not the types to trash stuff.
Regardless a great vacation and we will be back.

We recieved very great service and enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was very convenient for our family. The only problem was the steps to the beach. Not a problem for me but it was for some of my family and other guests. Very nice Pool area, very clean. The condo could use some updating but it was very nice, Will use again

I was very pleased with the professionalism of the Newman-Dailey staff and the villa was perfect. We had plenty of room where we didn't feel like we were in each other way and it was very relaxing. This was our second trip to Hidden Dunes. On this trip we stayed over Labor Day weekend (along with Tropical Storm Lee). We were notified on our way down that the cottage we reserved had some maintenance issues, but the staff quickly found a replacement for us. Even though the weather conditions were not perfect for the beach, we still had a great time hanging out by the pool. All of the beautiful foliage helped block a majority of the wind. Hoping we can plan a third trip soon!

A buddy of mine and I stayed at Hidden Dunes for spring break during our second year of medical school. We were not disappointed. There is a ton to do in Destin including scuba, sailing, great beaches. There are many excellent restaurants particularly for seafood and bbq (Lillie's On Pig's Alley, which is directly across the street, is particularly good). There are mini-golf courses, batting cages, and go-carts if you either have kids (which I don't) or you want to reconnect with your inner child (which we did :) )
Hidden Dunes is a fantastic place to spend a week on the beach regardless of whether you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway, a family with kids, or college students looking for relaxed spring break.The resort provides many amenties including tennis and basketball court, a small gym, pool, hot tub, and direct access to the beach. The unit itself is equipped with a full kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a family room with a large tv with VCR/DVD player.
Unit 1503 overlooks an amazing view of the water and Destin's famous white sand--not to be missed.
In short, Destin is a great vacation town and Hidden Dunes is a good place to see it from. Highly recommended.

Perfect easy family vacation.
My family has been going here for years and love this place. This unit has everything you want for a vacation stay. There's laundry and the kitchen is well-equipped. The master bedroom and deck have fantastic views right over the Gulf. Hidden Dunes has all the amenities you'd want such as tennis, basketball, multiple pools, private parking, walking trails, even a tram. The tram is great for my grandma who could still go for a walk and then wait for a tram when she was tired. Silver Sands is right across the street and the restaurant and bars are all really close. So there's always something for my brother and me to do at night. We all love walking on the beach, as well as through the complex which is really beautiful. A great place to stay. The complex is beautifully designed because it feels so peaceful with the trees and fountains. Lots of great, safe places for kids to explore. Yet you are right in the middle of everything!

This rental was very relaxing and quite beautiful. The screened porch was my favorite place to relax after enjoying all that Destin had to offer. The decor was beautiful; it had an island feel to it. The living area was big and spacious. The kitchen provided every possible tool you could think of when it came to cooking. The bedrooms were great as well. The only down side to this rental for us was that the master bedroom seem to be separate from the master bathroom. The master bathroom was located in the room with 2 queen beds. The beach was just a short walk outside of our unit. We also took advantage of one of the swimming pools at Hidden Dunes, which was a relief from the heat. Our overall experience was wonderful. The different attractions/amenities offered through this rental was great as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful condo. You certainly do provide a place that would be considered a "5-star" location! The view of the ocean is wonderful. We are so glad the "oil slick" didn't make it to these waters! We had some stormy weather but mosty gorgeous. We recommend Callahan's, Bayou Bills, Angelinas and Pig on the Alley BBQ across the street.

Our little oasis
This is a great unit. The location can't be beat because it is right by Silver Sands, and all the restaurants in Destin. It is easy to go out. At the same time Hidden Dunes has a beautiful setting with lots of trees and walking paths with fountains and pools. This particular unit is on the 15th floor, right over the beach! The views are amazing. Plus it has everything you need in case you want to stay put.

We stayed in two condos at Hidden Dunes and were very very pleased with the condos. The views from the balconys were amazing to wake up every morning to see the sun on the water. We got to sit right on our balcony and see 3 fire works displays, it just didn't get any better. The carpets in one of condos could use a good cleaning but everything else was great and clean. The Hidden Dunes community is beautiful. It is a great place to take a walk, ride a bike, play tennis or just walk on the beach. The beach service that Newman-Dailey provided was awesome. You just walked out your door in the morning and the beach chairs were ready and waiting. Couldn't imagine a better, more relaxing vacation anywhere.

Girls' Weekend Stay
I stayed in 1503 Gulfside with my girlfriends for a long weekend and it was just beautiful. We sat on the deck, drinking our wine and chatting, with views of the Gulf all around. There are beautiful walking trails and great walking on the beach too. The pool was great. We spent an evening in the jacuzzi. The decor in the unit is beachy and comfortable. It was all very relaxing and idyllic. Highly recommended.

The entire crew was so pleased with our stay at the Hidden Dunes Villa 48. The villa was very roomy and was just a few steps from the ocean and nice pool. The grounds were well kept. Check-in was a breeze. If we return next year we will stay at Villa 48.

I was very satisfied with our condo.It was very nice and spacious and clean. We all liked the size of the pool. The one thing I was disappointed in was the distance from our condo to the beach. In the photos it looked much closer! The photos were alittle disciveing. It was nice to have the golf cart service and the man driving was very nice. But I learned to ask more detailed questions next time I make any reservations anywhere.

Thank you for allowing my family to share this home. We come to Destin 2-3 times a year, this will be our new "condo". I love the decor and linens. We spent 4th of July on the beach watching the fireworks....what a view. It rained for six days before we saw the sun but it was ok since this unit was so relaxing.

We were so pleased with our stay at the Hidden Dunes Villa 48 that we are already considering coming again next year. The villa was clean and roomy, and we were just a few steps from the ocean. Well to start I took my parents to Desting for thier 50 Anniversary so it needed to be special.
We walked in to the cottage, pulled up the curtians to a wonderful view of the lake. My father who has trouble walking, went straight out on the screened in porch and looked more comfortable than he has looked in years. My folks took the master BR and said they havnt slept that well in a long time. Maybe because she had her kids with her to help with my father or just because she felt very comfortable.
I cant tell you how accomidating the kitchen was. It even had an icemaker seperate from the refrig. The pool was great and very clean. Looked like they really made a effort in taking care of the landscape.
We had six people staying in the cottage and never felt like we were in eachothers way. Great time and Great place.
Also I have to mention the folks at Newman were great too. Very friendly and helpful. Im talking about you Betty. Everyone else was great too but I had to call Betty out.

This was my first ever stay here, as a matter of fact it was my first ever vacation
outside of staying at a hotel. From the first phone call to book my stay right through
to my arrival and check in the experience was smooth and hassle free and the
people were friendly. The place nfar exceded my expectations and hopes it was
exactly as described and as pictured. I will definitely stay here again or one of there

We really want to commend Debbie Scott, as your representative. We saw this condo on line and I just couldn't get up the nerve to commit until I talked to her. She was wonderful prior to the stay and while we were there.
We loved the condo and hope to return. It was just right for us, and we love the pines and different trees and bushes, the different pools and hot tubs to give us alternatives when the beach was cold. We loved the beach and the complimentary chairs and umbrella -- the lighted fountains at night.
The traffic was horrendous outside the campus, but it was quiet and neighborly in the campus. The people in the other condos and on the beach were so friendly and obviously loved the place and the other people and liked returning.
There were minor problems with the tv/dvd player in the main room and the refrigerator, but so minor. It was nice to have laundry there and such a clean complete kitchen. There were cockroaches, but they didn't seem all over. Just a few, and we understand that is to be expected in Florida. So we tried to be very careful in clean up not to attract any.
We appreciate everything. Thank you. we would like to come back to HD221! The decorating was perfect for us.

The service was good. We checked in late - had no problem with that and check out was a breeze. The Hidden Dunes villa #48 that we rented had some maintenance issues. The floors were not very clean. One of the bath tubs had drainage issues. The complaints were promptly handled though. Otherwise our stay was good.

All packed and ready to leave our home away from home again and all ready thinking about our return. Our coldest winter stay yet but still no snow & ice - no road closures. I so appreciate how you take care of "our" condo for us! Keep well.

This was our 1st time in Destin and we just loved it. The condo was perfect and we were very comfortable and the weather was great. All in all we had a lovely time and will certainly return.

First off, thank you so much for making this wonderful place available to us. The beds and pillows were great and we loved listening to the waves at night. During the day we layed out by the pool and took long walks on the beach. It was so relaxing to be here. We enjoyed eating at a different restaurant every night and the great shopping Destin has to offer. Our favorites were PF Changs, Hard Rock Cafe, and the J.Crew outlet store. Today we went for a long walk and found some beautiful shells to remember our trip with. Thank you again for offering your "home away from home" to us and letting us "live, laugh & love. " God Bless.

This has been our 2nd stay in condo 1005, and our 4th stay at Hidden Dunes. Despite some bad luck with the weather we did have a nice week here enjoying the Gulf, the swimming pool, and this nice well appointed condo. There was some hours of sun each day. We enjoyed watching the dolphins, sea gulls, pelicans, fish and other wildlife from the balcony. Sometimes after a rain storm the light was such a yellow-green tint that we could easily see down in the water from the balcony and could see large fish swimming. This is our 8th annual vacation to the Destin area in the last 13 years and this is the only time the weather did not cooperate. We hope to return again in the near future.
